What are credits? Why do I need them?

Credits are the currency of Ministry Downloader. You use credits to purchase resources on Ministry Downloader. You can buy credits in quantities of 5, 10, 20, 30, 50, and 100. The more credits you buy...the cheaper they get.

I don’t like rejection—so what if my resource is rejected?

First know that we are motivated to ACCEPT all submissions. (Does that only make it worse? Okay, we’ll try again.) We are not into the snobby “expert” thing of just rejecting work because we are on some ego trip. We will do our level best to help you shape your work into something we believe will sell. It is highly unlikely ANYONE’s work will just be taken as is. If there is no way we can make it work, we let you know early. However, we do have a quality promise to maintain. As long as people are responsive to our coaching we believe any issue with any resource can be overcome.

In what form will I receive my digital downloads from Ministry Downloader?

Messages/ talks, Lessons (written resources) will download as PDF’s, so you must have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to open and view these files.

Individual pictures and graphics will download as j-pegs.

Power Point presentations will download in Power Point (surprise!), so you must have Power Point to view, edit or use these.

Audio files will download to you as MP3’s or as WMA files.

Video files will come to you in format playable by Windows Media Player (WMV) and/or QuickTime (MOV, MPG4). We try to offer all video in both versions. Maintain the latest versions of Windows Media Player and/or QuickTime on your computer!

Why not free?

On Ministry Downloader you’ll find cool, creative, high quality, formatted resources for affordable prices. Sure there are a number of “free” resources littering the internet. Sure you can slog through these sites sifting through heaps of unusable stuff. But who has time for that? Get quality resources here (reviewed by our seasoned pro’s) at far lower prices than the old guard of resource providers offer.

Finally, ministry leaders worked hard on these resources, and we believe a workman is worth his or her hire.  Bibles are not free (typically). Curriculum is not free. Christian musicians do not offer their music for free. We believe it shouldn’t be any different for these resources.

How do I find the resources I want on Ministry Downloader?

Go to the SEARCH page. (Or click here: SEARCH page.)

The default view is a listing of ALL resources ordered by Subject/ Topic (primary topic first). To narrow your search, use any of the six filters we provide: Subject/Topic, Resource Type, Key Scripture, Age Group, Contributor, Affiliation/ Denomination.

Can resources be returned for credit? Re-downloaded?

These are digital resources and, as such, may not be “returned”.  No credits or refunds.  Your purchased resources will remain in your account to re-download as necessary.

Why digitally downloaded resources?

Three reasons:  First, resources can be offered more affordably. Second, you can get resources fast and easy—in minutes. No trips to the store or waiting for an online order. Finally, digital downloads are green. No trees for paper. No electricity or gasoline are used for transporting or storing these resources.

Are resources edited?

Resources are CAREFULLY reviewed for quality and creativity of the ideas submitted. They are cleaned up a bit and formatted, but they are not “edited” per se’. Grammar review, fact-checking, theological analysis and the like are not performed by Ministry Downloader. Resources are sold as is.

How much $$ can I make from selling my resource on Ministry Downloader?

Is money ALL you care about?? Gotcha! Seriously, this is a fair question. Ministry Downloader cannot promise any resource will sell, so we cannot say how much anyone will make. However, we are committed to giving back. We give you a way to make more than you are currently making. How much are you making on your resources right now? If you are like most, that’s a great big -0-.
For the latest on royalties rates we pay, see our sample agreement. Ultimately you will find that the biggest blessing for you will get is knowing that your messages are being used by leaders who need them to touch the lives of young people in churches beyond your own. The money is just the icing on the cake. (Great, now I’m hungry.)
